Hi, I'm Vivian!

I am currently an assistant professor at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center. I have a PhD from Carnegie Mellon's Robotics Institute. I was advised by Prof. Chris Harrison in the Human Computer Interaction Institute, and my research primarily focuses on novel input and output techniques. I've worked at Microsoft Research, Meta Reality Labs, Disney, San Diego Zoo, Conservation X Labs, and NASA.

In my free time I enjoy creating the projects you see here, as well as play a lot of ultimate frisbee.
